Talking to Jack Nicholson, tough loss to Lakers!!!

Heeeeeeyyyyyy wooorrrrrrrrrlllllllddddd!!!!

Well, we’re in Milwaukee after that super long flight last night from LA. Not sure why we’re playing Milwaukee on a West Coast trip, but that’s the crazy schedule that we have. It will be so good to finally get home Wednesday night because we have been out on the road so long.

The game in LA against the Lakers was really disappointing because we played so well in the first half and so bad in the second half. In the first half we were running, swinging the ball from side to side and playing inside-out ball. That’s why we had the lead.

But in the second half, we weren’t getting the ball inside and were taking a bunch of quick shots. We also had a lot of turnovers, and my turnovers were really frustrating because they came off things like offensive fouls and three second calls. I just have to play through stuff like that, make some subtle changes and keep attacking.

All of the stars were out last night in LA, and I always think it’s cool when the actors and musicians come out to watch us play. And like I always do, I was messing with Jack Nicholson during a couple of timeouts. I was asking him if those glasses he was wearing were 3-D glasses so he could see the game in 3-D from courtside.

And I had Jack laughing with my Joker voice from the Batman movies. Ya’ll know I can do just about any voice of movie personalities and Jack told me that I’m pretty good doing impersonations. I really respect Jack because he’s a big basketball fan, he’s a good actor and he’s an all around cool guy.

Being that it’s LA, I knew I would get some free agency questions while I was out there. But like I have said before and I’ll say it again: I’ve never said that I want to leave Orlando and my focus is on helping this Magic team win a championship. And at the end of the day, nothing is going to happen in free agency with me until after next season and I just don’t think that far ahead. I’m trying to stay in the moment and focus on the task at hand, which is this Magic team.

The playoffs start in about a month, so it’s really up to us now to get our game right going down the stretch. I know a lot of people out there say we aren’t doing that well this season and we’re stuck in the No. 4 spot, but that’s OK. It just about us getting hot and playing the way that we know how to play. If we attack and play inside-out like we’re supposed to, I feel like we can beat any team out there. But right now it’s about us coming up with better consistency and playing the same way every night.

Well, I’m get out of here. We’re off today in Milwaukee, but it’s so cold that I’m probably just going to stick in the room and play X-box. I’m going to stay off my feet, get some rest and be ready to close out this trip the right way Wednesday night with a win.

Peace out. Yuuuuuuuuuuuuaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!
