A tough loss to take in Boston!!!

Heeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyyy woooooorrrrrrrrllllllllddddddd!!!

Well, that game in Boston was really a tough game to swallow because we didn´t play well at all. It was weird because we started off really well in the first quarter and it seemed like we were ready to play, but we kind of got away from our plan and struggled the rest of the way.

After we got ahead early, Boston just stayed calm and played their game and got back in it. We stopped doing what got us the lead and started shooting. We shot like 12 percent from the three today. Instead of just shooting threes, we have to be willing to get to the rack. Or if we shoot threes, it can´t just be one missed shot every time down.

I´ve said it before and I´ll keep on saying it: We have to play inside-out. That´s when we´re at our. If they don´t double me, I´m going to attack them. If they double, I´ll kick the ball out to the right man and we´ll get open shots and 3-pointers.

We had it rolling inside, but we never got the jumpers that we needed on Sunday to keep the Celtics defense honest. We have a talented group of guys who know how to play ball, but we just have to do it on a consistent basis. It has to be a total team effort, especially when we play against a team like Boston. Their total team is going to bring it every night and we have to do the same thing.

I keep going back to the fact that it´s just the regular season and we still have time to get right before the playoffs start in April. We´ve only been together for about six weeks since the trades back in December, so we´re still kind of learning how to play together. We´ve been together for six weeks and the Celtics have been together for four seasons, so we have a lot of making up to do. But it´s about 10 weeks until the playoffs start, so we just have to get right at the right time.

I look at the Packers in the Super Bowl and I know it can be done. Green Bay wasn´t great all the time during the season, but they got hot at the right time and crushed folks in the playoffs. Aaron Rodgers got it going and those dudes followed him, so I´m keeping the faith and hoping that I can do the same thing here with the Magic.

We know we have so much talent on this team, but for us it´s about being more consistent on a night-to-night basis and bringing it defensively. We´ve struggled getting stops defensively and too often when our offense is struggling we let it affect our defense. We have to be tougher mentally and not let that happen.

So I´m not losing the faith. We can turn this thing around. It´s just going to take some hard work and I´m ready to do whatever it takes.

I´m gonna get out of here. Yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!
