I’m disappointed in our effort as a team. That’s not the effort we needed Friday night in Game 3. We act like we want to win the series, but Philly is outplaying us. They are playing harder, going for loose balls and extra rebounds and just playing harder.
It felt good to see us come all the way back and keep fighting after beinbg down by 17 points, but it should have never come to that.
We have to keep fighting. We talk about winning a championship and being a great team, but we’ve got to fight. We’re down 2-1, but that doesn’t mean the series is over with. We played well for 18 minutes at both ends, but if we want to beat a Philly team that is playing great we have to do it from the jump ball.
More than anything, it’s the effort that just really bothers me. For 82 games this year, we haven’t been outworked and in this series we’ve been outworked and we can’t hide from that. We’ve never let a team work harder than us. It’s disappointing that we’ve allowed Philly to play harder than us and they have confidence now.
We have to play how we know how to play on Sunday. It’s a game that we have to have to win this series. We haven’t lost the faith, but we just need to play with more effort and energy.

You’re playing great individually, your post game has really been awesome. I just hope Hedo and Rashard can step up, gotta have them contributing more even though Philly is concentrating on shutting down the 3’s.

Dwight, last night you played unreal. That was one of the most dominant games of your career. They couldn’t stop you. The sentiment you express is exactly right. I’ve watched almost every game this year and you guys don’t look the same. Play loose and you’ll be a hard team to beat by anyone. THIS IS OUR YEAR!!!!!!!!!!

Dwight, Obvious Turk and Shard are not playing well…but it seems they don’t ever play well when you guys are playing at this pace. The offense is fluid and better at a faster pace. I know that Stan thinks this will play into Philly’s hands, but didn’t we say we could beat anyone when we play “Our Game”?
You played an awesome game Howard. Orlando loves you. BTW- you can smile/laugh/kid as much as you want – You’ve proven yourself beyond… You have every right to show your joy.
If you got two people out of five you and Rafer, pulling the weight of the team, and then you got all five players of the other team contributing any way they can, these are the results you will get. Rashard did get a few 3 pointers, Turk’s game never came. Since the series started Turk hasn’t really put up any big numbers, same thing with Rashard. The names I hear most are Howard, Alston, and Lee. Where is the rest of the team? If you want the championship the team has to bring their A+ game, not just three players. What do you want to do Magic, win or go home?

Great game individually, but its not golf. Your team has to participate. Everyone wants to slam turk and lewis, but as you know the shots dont always fall. I think that ANYONE who is a real magic fan and has paid attention the last two seasons know that they have contributed a lot to this orginazation. I’m sure they are being really hard on themselves, so maybe you should just remind them of games gone by when they were both hot from the arc, remind them of how smooth they played. They are beyond nervous now, especially since everyone is being so hard on them. Its all mental now, the talent is there. Keep leading you team, its hard to weather, but you all WILL get through to the other side, and be a better team for it.
