Whew!!!!!! Are ya’ll as exhausted as I am after that killer game? That was a gut-check of all gut-check games for us and the Magic came through again? What are they gonna say now?
We’re so, so close to playing for that championship in the Finals, but now is no time to celebrate because really we haven’t done anything yet. We’ve won three games, but you don’t get anything for that. If you think winning last night was hard, t rying to close out the Cavs at The Q will be super hard and we know it. That’s a good team that won 66 games and they aren’t going down without a fight.
Speaking of fighting, how about those tackles that Varejao put on me a couple of times during the game??? And I’m the one who gets the technical foul!!!! I was just playing with emotion. You get in the game and you score a big bucket, you let your emotions take over. I wasn’t taunting Varejao or anything. My thing was, it was a tough play, he grabbed me around the neck and I made the shot, so hopefully they will look at it.
And on that final lob play, he rode me out of bounds, but there was nothing called. I just feel like if that had been a certain guy on the other team, the whistle would have been blowing.
This thing with the T’s is bugging me pretty bad right no w, but I can’t let it take me away from my focus on helping us get the job done. I can’t believe that I’ve had six of them called on me so far, and some of them have just been crazy. I’m not a dirty player, I don’t talk a lot of trash and I don’t curse the officials, so I can’t figure out why I keep getting them again and again.
Hopefully, the league office will look at this one and realize it was just the heat of the game. There was no taunting. I’ve already had to miss one game because of my elbows, and I made a promise to myself that I’d never have that happen again with my elbows. The thought of me having to miss another game is killing me, so I’ve got to keep my mouth shut and my elbows down.
We’re getting contributions from so many guys now – Shard, Turk, MP, C-Lee and my man Skip to My Lou. That wasn’t Rafer Alston out there tonight, that was professional street baler, Skip To My Lou!!!!
We just feel like when we’re playing like we did last night, getting help from everybody, moving the ball, running and playing defense, that we can beat anybody.
We’ve got to close this baby out now. It won’t be easy, but we feel we can get it done against anybody if we just play our game.
I’ll be ready and my guys will be ready, so let’s go do this.

I think the officiating as a whole has been garbage through out the whole playoffs. It’s like the officials are scared of big black men celebrating after scoring. So I guess all players should wear duct tape on there lips during games because if you yell after scoring it’s a technical. Go Magic!

I have such a migraine!!!! What is going to be done with these officials??!!!! Are you kidding me? The calls are so blatent. LaBron can hip check and throw bows and no one calls foul. The officials are calling silly calls to slow the game. It’s just wrong! They are so wanting the Labron/Kobe match up that they are willing to do anything.
The wins are a true testimony. It just goes to show that when God is for you, no one can be against you!! GO MAGIC!!!!!!

Hey Man, Kenny is running out of things to say and it’s making me laugh. After game 5 they won’t have anything to say. Well maybe that the Lakers can beat us. I’ve been through everything with the franchise…and this team makes me proud and you guys have brung pride back to Orlando. Great Job. I don’t have TNT, so I was watching the game on ESPN’s gamecast watching the little court and reading the play by play… my stomach was in knots the whole time. The only thing about seeing the game like that is that you don’t see how horrible the officiating is. It is probably better for stress levels to not be seeing that garbage the NBA likes to call officiating. Lets see those Magic back in the Finals!
OMG!!! What a crazy game last nite I mean on the end of my bed sweating bullets like I was out there playing with you guys! The game last night was awesome and I couldn’t be more proud of my boys! All of you went out there and played your butts off . . . and now we have the chance to close this series! If you thought that last nite’s game was fight, Thursday’s game in Cleveland will be a battle! Like everyone said in the posts above we definitely have to come at this game like it is the last in the series and our only surviving chance! The Cavs got a chip on their shoulder now, and will be out for blood . . . but we do too because even after 3 wins and leading the series people still doubt! But that is okay because I have the ultimate faith in you guys!!!
For the tech that call was pure BS and should be rescinded and if not on Thursday you gotta stay COOL! After even dunk, block layup, fg . . . whateva just keep your cool we can’t have any more techs and risk you get suspended for the next game. *Praying that the league will rescind the tech* I am still so amped about the game and the thought of you guys hopefully ending the series in the Q (how amazing would that be)! I seen Lebron make shots (many times) and put his ‘Grrr’ face on, lookin like he gonna kill some 1 but he doesn’t get a tech. The refs are on ya’ll like a maggots on a dead corpse in the woods. Bull **** calls being made. SO what this tells me is that Ya’ll, ORLANDO, is the better team cuz you guys are winning with ALL the odds against you. 3-1 lead in the series isn’t bad for a team the world counted out of the playoffs. I have so much Respect for the Orlando team and much respect to you holding in that anger cuz you ain’t getting your calls. All in all despite the bad calls and everything you all STILL came through! I think for the most part we all know who the media wants to see in the final game. So of course if that’s the case they are going to try their hardest to get anyone out of the way that might stop that from happening.
I have to say though about that “other player on the other team”…PRIDE COMES BEFORE THE FALL. So I just look past that because the same has happened to TONS of people in the league before. I have a LOT of respect for you because of your humbleness and cool head on and off the court.

As for Varejao “riding [you] out of bounds on the lob”, it looked like–you know, on the replay that those pesky TV cameras show–that his arms were straight up, you initiated contact, and tried to pull him down to get the call. The fact that the refs gave you a no-call is the same treatment that you’re whining about LeBron getting.
Way to win with class.

Whew, Dwightmare is saving my rep. Years ago me and my hoops buddies sat around, chatting who we’d take if we could have anyone. I picked Dwight while everyone else went Yao or Lebron. They’ve been on me ever since, they call me the offical dumbest hoops guy (make that: “used to”), it’s been real bad this season, they were BRUTAL during the Philly series. Now just close this thing out man and I can pound on those guys for a year. A whole year!
Now just as soon as Dwight comes to Golden State, his game will be 100% complete.
