Wassup y’all? Here’s video from our arrival at practice on Saturday. The Sparks were playing at Staples Center on Saturday, so we had to practice at the Lakers’ practice facility in El Segundo, CA. On my way off the bus I ran into “My brother from another mother” DJ Mbenga.
I’ll post some behind the scenes video from tonight’s game for you guys tomorrow. You guys cheer us on hard tonight. PEACE!

I just wanted to express my gratitude with your character. I pray that you continue your walk with God on and off the court. You inspire many children as well as adults, and possibly have no idea. Your personality is one of a kind and I am proud to say that I have been a fan of the Magic for 18 years, since the age of 6. I pray that you continue your successful streak with the Orlando Magic Franchise. I leave with you Philippians 4:13. But this is the one that suits you more; Isaiah 40:31. God Bless you on your journey!

pls can anybody pass this commento to dwight!! dwight pls when shifting from your lowpost left to right do not hold the ball down to your chest. the ball should be raised abve your head or level to your head when you spin. as it will be difficult for the guys guarding you for a double team. and pls dwight do not wait for the refs to blow their whistle just go strong hard to the rim dont mind the whistle.
I’ve been reading this blog for a while, I like how connected you are with the fans. I just watched the Sunday game and I fully believe you can bring it back in Orlando on Tuesday, O-Town is with you guys all the way!! Good Luck!!
I…for what it’s worth, never having competed in anything like an NBA Finals Series, I’m sorry. You did everything you could. I saw the Magic playing like the Magic in this game. It was so close, and it really could have gone either way. If nothing else, head to practice, or Game 3, or wherever you’re going when you read this, with the knowledge that everyone knows that you i/can/i take the Lakers. You can beat in game 3, and you can beat in game 4, and you can even up this series.
Hey Dwight, it was frustrating to see you lose a close game like this. I’m watching you from Iceland, it’s been a lot of fun to watch you play.
It wasn’t Courtney Lee that blew it, he could have saved you though.
You have to think about these things:
You can easily win 3 games in a row on your homecourt, that will make the series 3-2 in your advantage.
There were very good things about tonights game… Lewis, Turkoglu and Pietrus were all playing really well. You hit a good % from FT line
Their bigs got in foul trouble… Keep doing that… honestly I think thats the key to win.
You deserve to win.
Dwight man I love love love watching you play and I look forward to seeing you develop the next couple of years. Now I read what you said about what advice Shaq gave you and the next comment they quoted in the story was that he didn’t really tell you anything to help your game. The one thing I wanna say is you may have misinterpreted what he was trying to tell you. At this point in your career I know that you are fully aware that you have flaws and you need to continue to improve but what he was trying to tell you is something that he mastered over the years that allowed him to thrive offensively with only 1 or 2 actual post moves. When you guys come down on the break and the secondary break if you would just run straight to the rim and turn around and demand the ball before the defense gets a chance to set, you automatically put the defense at a disadvantage because no one has a chance to stop you from dunking the ball when you’re within 5 feet of the basket because of your athletic ability. If you keep doing this over and over even though you may get a few 3 second calls you will instill a sense of urgency in the guards to get you the ball quickly before the defense can load up their defense to stop you and the defense will also begin to collapse on you and open up looks for all those shooters on your team. Don’t settle for posting up on the block and letting Bynum and Gasol push you out of the lane you have to put pressure on them to defend the strengths of your game in order to be a factor on offense. I’m looking forward to you guys playing better in Orlando and making a series out of this one.
Hi Dwight,
Today’s loss was heart breaking! I have no words to describe my feeling.
Comeon this is not the way it is supposed to be. We have to break this trend.
The way you guys played today, it was amazing. I am damn sure that
we can beat LAL in the next game. So, Lets do it!
@DwightHoward damn dwight you guys gotta pull through with the win, these playoffs have been great mainly because you guys were underestimated and expected to lose, instead each round you guys showed everyone that you guys could do the improbable, the unexpected. It’s nuts to say this but against all odds you guys came out on top every time, and everytime the magic did the improbable, you guys inspired thousands, not only in a basketball perspective but in a real life perspective as well. See in life nothings fair, you have days where you get subjected to ridiculous buzzer beaters like what lebron and big baby did to you guys, where in one moment they erased 47 minutes of your blood sweat and tears and that doesnt happen only in basketball but in real life as well in a sense, which can be cruel and brutal. See what people don’t undertsand but experience is that basketball and other sports are like an escape for life and when youre rooting for your team and they win, you’re also winning against life….by being happy. So do the impossible once more, do what everyone says you cant, sweep the lakers at home and steal one on the road, and thats all folks, all of a sudden you’ll realize you guys are champions. There are things in life that you realize you’ll never be able to do or witness, for me its never makign it to the nba, never witnessing one of these final games or being so rich that i can take care of my family, but you know what’s one thing you can do? you can beat the lakers even though 99 % of all analysts count you to lose, in the end its you on the court not them. surprise everyone one more time, inspire millions that against all odds you can still win. We’ll be watching.
Watched the post game interview and I know you are frustrated but when frustrations go up, faith comes down. Stay faithful in your ability, your team’s ability and your game. Remember that the lakers are TRYING to frustrate you. That’s what they want. Don’t sweat the petty stuff, instead sweat hard and get back down the court where you are needed and do what you have to do to get back at them defensively what they may have taken offensively! Without fouling of course
. Stay patient and wait for the RIGHT shot and the RIGHT pass, don’t just do it because they have frustrated you into making the play. Come on Superman; don’t let them be your kryptonite! YOU GOT THIS!!!! Now let’s win!!
Signed,
Serious Dwight Fan
its probly hard as hell but it looks like you need to dunk more! dunk like your tryin to break the hoop and they gonna be scared to stop you! and if they in the way break them! ha
