I don’t know what to say. I just missed my free throws. We all missed them. It was just one of those nights when they weren’t going down for us. It’s so hard to explain because I have been working so hard on my free throws and making a lot of progress the last couple of weeks, but last night just wasn’t my night.
We feel like we let another game away from us. We had Game 2 and let the Lakers win. We feel like this one was right there for us and we gave the Lakers n ew life and they won it again in OT.
Those kind of losses are just so hard to handle, but I’ll tell you this: We ain’t quitting now. I’m not dropping my head and I won’t allow my guys to drop their heads either. We’re not rolling over and just giving the Lakers a championship.
We’ve come back from a lot of stuff in the playoffs, and I still feel like we can come back from this too. The only way we can do this is if everybody still thinks we can win the series. It starts with Sunday night, and when we get that win, we’ll try to get Game 6 back in LA.
Nobody is hurting more about what happened last night than me, but I’m not hanging my head. I wish I had those free throws back, but I can’t shoot them again. All I can do now is move on and try to do better next t ime.
Everybody – our team, our coaches and fans – have to keep believing that we can come back from this. I know we can. We’re not done yet ‘cause we got way too much fight in us to go out like this.
We’ll be back from this, ya’ll know that.

I am still hopeful the Magic will win. You all need to stay focused. Van Gundy needs to play Rafer not Nelson. Nothing is impossible if you blieve in yourself and play as a team the way you beat Boston. Go Magic!

Dwight, you are the best player in the NBA and if anyone is to come back from this 3-1 deficit, it’s you and the rest of this team. I know you will be a leader and come out Game 5 and show the Lakers what the Magic are all about. I still believe you guys can win this series and I know you and everyone else on that team does. It doesn’t matter what the media says, the only thing that matters is that the team has confidence and the mentality to come back and win this championship. I know you guys are gonna do it, I really think you guys will win this series. Keep your head held up and high and I know it’s frustrating, but you are gonna overcome it and use it as motivation to bring the Magic back. Keep your faith in God and trust him, he will give you the strength and the courage to do this, I promise you that.

It’s the fear that will kill you. If you start to fall behind, remember Game 3. You started out going 2-8 and had to battle back as Kobe put on the performance of his life. Remember the Celtics in game 7. You were down by 5 with minutes to go. Have faith in yourself, your abilities, your teammates and your coaches.
I want to tell Stan to keep you guys going if you start to get overtaken. I want him to use the examples I gave and anything else he can come up with. And I want to ask you to, if your ready, forgive Stan for his mistakes. They happen, and forgiveness would probably mean the world to him right now.
Remember, keep fighting to the end, no matter how desperate things start to become. I believe in you.

We’re not giving up and we believe you can pull this out of the old Magic hat. I’d never seen the team play the way you did in the first half on Thursday night. There was something fueling that tempo–find it again and you’ll be unbeatable. It’s not over!!! WE BELIEVE IN MAGIC!!!!
Dwight, do you remember Game 5 against the Cavs? They came out very strong, you pushed back and cut their lead all the way to one by halftime. You went on to lose the game, and afterwards described it as LeBron “willing his team towards victory.” Neither the Lakers or the Cavs are the first teams that we’ve given up strong starts to. It just so happens that the Lakers are a strong enough team to exploit this weakness. Check your own older blog entries. I believe that we can win this. You guys have demonstrated again and again that if we bring our game, the Lakers are outmatched. But you’ve also demonstrated a heavy willingness to let yourselves get pounded if you think you can still win the game. Please don’t lose focus guys. There are so many reasons to believe that we can pull this off. But there is also real cause to be concerned. We have to play hard the whole way. If we don’t, we might as well not even show up.
You guys can play hard. Just keep going all the way through. There isn’t a single game this series the Lakers have truly won. Well, it’s time to start taking this thing. Play the best you can, all the way through. We’ve stood witness as you’ve done things that weren’t supposed to be possible. We’ve seen your skill and talent. When terror grips your heart, remember that. There are an unending horde of people that believe you will take this, who no what your capable of. Just bring that ability out.
Man don’t even worry about the free throws. We love you man your putting to much pressure on yourself. If you let the free throws bother you it will just be another Nick Anderson (miss judged player because of free throws). We can’t even begin to count how many times you have carried us. D-12 is amazing.

No matter what, you are still Orlando’s man. Keep your head high even if you stay home tonight. You guys will be back next year with more experience, and ready to go all the way. Realize how far you’ve come. Stay strong in God and believe in Him first, then the Magic. You are loved much.

Dwight, wanna get better on shooting free throw, ask your icon King James to teach you how, he’s pretty good, ways better than your PE teacher in High School. Dwight, answer our question “you claimed that you’re the most dominant player in the NBA and how come you can’t shoot those darn free throws? Gotta admit that King James is the most dominant player in the NBA right now, not you, be a man and just admit it.
Dwight has lost touch with reality. How can you possibly think that you can come back from a 3 – 1 hole when you cant even hit one of two free throws? Get help your mind is slipping.
