Yo, what’s up, ya’ll. Been away for awhile working on some off-season projects, but hope all of you Magic fans are having a good summer. I’ve been bouncing around some and was actually on The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon last night in NYC. We attached a video clip here if you missed it.
Now that we’ve had some time after the season ended I’m beginning to see what a really good year it was for us. We did a lot of things the y’ve never done around here before. And to make it even better, we did them when few gave us a chance.
I mean, come on, who really thought we’d win in Boston in that Game 7? Who thought we’d beat Cleveland the way we did in the East Finals? Who at the beginning of the year thought we’d get to The Finals?
Losing to the Lakers still really bothers me when I think about it because that series was much closer than some people realize. We lost two games in OT that were right there for the taking for us. We win those two games and it’s on with the Lakers. We know it, they know it and everybody knows that series could have gone a lot differently if we would have found a way to win Games 2 and 4.
But we’ll learn from those memories and we’ll be better when we’re back in the Finals next year. Losing to the Lakers will make us work even harder and be even hungrier next season.
Looks like Cleveland just traded for big Shaq in order to try and stop me next season. It’s good to see that the Magic are on the minds of some other teams now instead of it being the other way around. Maybe now after getting to the Finals the little ol’ Magic won’t be overlooked as much anymore.
Those kinds of trades like the one Cleveland made just lets us know that we have to be better next season. Those teams are gunning for us and trying to get better, so we’ve got to do the same thing.
Trust me, it’s on now. I’m already getting fired up for next season. I’m ready to get back to work.

Go get’em D12 the only reason Cleveland pulled off a deal like this is to try to neutralize you next season. As far as Im concerned, this is your time SHAQ is on the downside of his career……………work hard dude I mean very hard, come back hungrier than ever!!!!!! You are the NEW Superman 2 and the best center in the league now. Keep working hard so we can send Cleveland fishing once more!!!

Hey man, the Org is trying to trade Courtney Lee for Vince Carter….!?!?!?! You cant let that happen man. I LOVE LEE!! Hes a sure all star in a few years and Vince Carter as good as he is, takes nights off, doesnt try and compete and he only has a few decent years left in him. Im not a GM and I dont know all the inner workings of trade deals but it doesnt take an expert to see we are losing too much if we have to up Lee. Hes a rookie. His game will only improve year over year and mark my words he will be a great player in this league one day. I hope you can do something to stop this!!! I cant believe theyre even considering this!!!!
Hey D, I just got home from work and I see the organization is trying to trade Courtney Lee! Are they nuts??? Hello???? All they have to do is listen to t he audio of the finals games and listen to how many times you hear “Nice lay up by the rookie, Courtney Lee.” There are so many references to “the rookie, Courtney Lee.” that it’s very plain to see how much an integral part of this team he is. Do what you can and talk to the big kahunas and get them to change their minds. Look at the history of our Magic and see how many times they have traded away our great players and they have gone on to win championships with other teams. Peace out.

Unless shaq drops like 50lbs. over the summer, he definitely has no game for you. He is slow and heavy, maybe the Cavs will make him lose weight so he can keep up with the team. He also has the worst attitude, Cavs may see what they got and want a refund. Hope he don’t try to push Lebron around the way he did Kobe. I know Lebron won’t deal with it and shaq will definitely be traded again.

Believe it or not,at the very beginning of the season I thought you guys could reach to the final,even win the final series.
In my opinion,why you lose the game is just because you are not hungry as lakers,they learned a lot from the series with celtics last year.
Watching the final series of lakers win really makes me heart-breaking,hope you can win back next season.

Yeah we gave up some serious youth when we let Trevor go, now we are trading Vince and letting CLee go out the door with one of my favorite players Skip and I’m supposed to be happy about it?

Guys, the Magic need Vince, and Vince needs the Magic. It’s a great combo. He’s going to lift D12 beyond the stratosphere, beyond super-stardom. We almost rioted when we “over paid” for Shard, we ribbed Otis for making a decision to sign a guy we hardly knew about, ffwd 2 years and we have an allstar caliber player who fits nice into our team chemistry.
Trust me, Otis is dead on right with this trade. I didnt like it at first, but, and lets pray the team staye healthy, its a healthy step to creating an unbeatable team. And he’s not done, mark my words. D12, you have a championship caliber team now. We are expecting great things from you and the squad. We’ll be praying for you guys!

Man, I did speak to some of the black dudes and they think Dwight Howard is gonna be another young TO (Terrell Owen) talking craps and BS. That’s right, want proofs? who had delivered a guarantee statement that there will be game #6 in LA and did it happened? Did Dwight have stuffs packed for game #6 as he promised? The Magics are overrated had Rashad Lewis not stepping up, they would have been eliminated by Philadelphia in the first round. Lewis should be the most dominant player in Magic team, no exceptions. As for next year, I can guarantee all of your Magic fans that Cleveland and Boston will be fighting for the Eastern Conference Finals for the rights to meet Denver or Houston in the NBA Finals. Remember my words, Orlando Magics fans, guarantee that Magics won’t make it past 1st round next year, 2110 NBA playoff.
I was sad to see Courtney Lee & Rafer Alston go. So, Mr. Carter better step it up! LOL. And yes, anytime the underdog makes it to the Finals, everyone is going to switch their game up and try to assemble a new team. The Cavs acquiring Shaq was a little “special” to me, for lack of a better word. He has about 2 more seasons left on him. Don’t get me wrong, Shaq definitely has the experience but I think it’s going to be difficult working him into the LeBron Experience. For the most part, LeBron has shown that he’s a one-man show. The Cavs won’t work unless EVERYONE is cooperating and LeBron isn’t coaching the team. There just isn’t enough room for another star. I’m interested in seeing how this season goes. Especially with the Lakers slapping Artest in the rotation…If it doesn’t make for a good line up, it sure makes for good tv. LOL. But all the best. And hopefully I’ll be interviewing the Magic and others in the near future.
