Heyyyyy World!!! We had a really tough game last night against Miami and tonight we’re back in the A-T-L to face the Hawks. It’s kind of messed up because we’re on a back to back and the Hawks have had four days off before playing us.
But I don’t even care because I like playing on the holidays. When you think about it, they only pick the best teams to play on TV on the holidays. So the fact that we’re playing on Thanksgiving and again on Christmas in a few weeks is OK with me because that’s a sign of respect for our team.
It’s actually good because I’ll be back at the crib in Hot-lanta today with my family, eating some good Southern food for Thanksgiving. Ya’ll may not know it or not but my mama’s chit’lins are one of my favorites to eat for Thanksgiving. Chit’lins are what have made my muscles as big and sexy as they are now.
But I can’t eat too much with a game later in the night. This is a business trip and not a homecoming. We really need this one, especially after the way we lost to Miami. I can’t believe we let them get those two offensive rebounds down the stretch, especially one off an airball!!!
Playing Miami, I got to see my boy, D-Wade. If there’s anybody in the NBA not on my team that I’d like to play with it would be him. We’ve talked about it some at the Olympics a couple of years ago and over the summer when we were shooting our movie together.
We both really love our own teams and teammates, but it is something that we’ve dreamed about. He’ll be a free agent this summer, along with Bron and C-Bosh, so I’ll be right there with everybody trying to see where they all wind up. It’s going to be really interesting to see. Maybe they can all come to O-town and we can build a dynasty. Now that would shock the world, huh!!!!
We’ll, ya’ll have a good Thanksgiving. I have so much to be thankful for, on and off the court, and I’m thankful that you guys are always here to support me. Peace out.

Tough game man. There were mistakes on our magic team that will be disappearing as the season goes on. I already see the signs of the team bringing it together. I’ll say it for you to save you $15,000 that the officiating was a load of garbage. There was more traveling/carrying on the Heat then your plane trip today. Although, I prefer to be the underdog to the officials than the LeBron that wins from bad calls. If it’s only one way or the other I’d prefer to watch you guys overcome the odds. It makes the win all the sweeter and better yet it is proven that without a doubt that the team is worthy. Can’t wait for the game tonight. Have a happy thanks giving D12!

Hi Dwight, that was a nail biter at the end..but thats okay Miami is a tough team and they wasnt gonna let you get the win, without a fight..it was just simple missed shots..on Orlando end and then they got those rebounds…
But today is a new day, this is your hometown so you have to take it in Atlanta. They are a pretty good team and they are gonnna want to win at home.
Right when your a good team you get to play on the Holidays where everybody gets to see you..Thats the benefits of making it to the Finals…your worth watching.
That would be exciting if Orlando got any of those free agents, your team is already good…You all would be unstoppable…you seem like you get along with everybody and you work well with all different personalities, because your goal is to just win a championship.

Happy to catch the game last night on espn. The cameras showed a little girl on her dad’s shoulder’s with a pink+white jersey w/no. 12 showing her love for you. So, here’s mine: 1) You are an amazing rebounder. Even when there’s no one else at the end of the court, there you are, working hard to keep the ball in Magic’s hands. 2) You have just proven you can hit from the line — for 2 in a row under pressure (you tied the score at that point). Lovin’ the way that looks on you…can we see more of that, please….?? 3) Happy Thanksgiving! I am grateful that always come here to share your thoughts on a game, whichever way it goes. Good game. I’m glad to see we rebounded from a poor first half to grab a strong win over the Hawks. But Dwight, something is clearly bothering you and its affecting your on-court play. For the sake of your team and fans, will you talk with someone you trust and try to come to grips with whatever’s bothering you?
Great game vs Hawks. I was worried abt my MAGIC during 1st half. I dont know what was said to you guys at half time but you picked up the pace and shined like Champions during the last stretch of the game.
