Heyyyyyy worrrrld!!! Good, good win for us last night against Utah because I really look at them as one of the toughest teams in the league. Those guys get layups, pass the ball well and play really tough. But we were able to grind it out by getting a lot of contributions on offense and we played good strong defense.
With Utah in town, I got to hang out with my man, Carlos Boozer, for a little while. That guy is like my big brother and my closest friend not on the Magic. It really meant a lot to me last season in the playoffs when he was in Orlando, pulling hard for us in the playoffs against Cleveland and the Lakers. That’s my guy, C-Booz. He was at my house almost every night and I had my chef cooking us up some grub while we talked about basketball.
We became really tight back in the Olympics in China working out every day on the court and hanging together along with Chris Bosh off the court. We went at each other every day and made each other better by getting our work in.
Those guys are like my brothers and if I’m ever having a problem with anything I can hit them up for advice. It’s good to have friends like that who are a little older because they have been through some of the stuff that I haven’t experienced yet.
When Booz came to the house on Sunday, we hung out and watched a lot of the NFL games on TV. Of course, everybody was asking me if we talked about playing together since he’s going to be a free agent this summer. Of course, that would be a dream come true for both of us, but we’ll have to see what happens. Booz will have to make a decision on his own and do what’s best for him and his family. That has to come first in any decision.
We were playing a little game, talking about which other NBA great player we’d most like to play with. We were throwing out all the names like Kobe and LeBron and D-Wade and Joe Johnson. For me, I gotta say D-Wade because he’s just a really good dude and I think we’d fit well together with him on the outside and me on the inside.
Who knows if any of us will ever get a chance to play together, but I can at least think about what it would be like. It would be cool to be on the same team with one of those guys like Booz who is one of my best friends.
We’ll just have to see what happens in the future. It should be interesting.

SWEETness! Carlos was one of my best friends when we were in high school. I live in Orlando now (long way from AK), and I go to the Jazz games every chance I get when they play the Magic. But as much as I still love Carlos, the Magic are my TEAM now! I must admit, I’m slightly jealous that you got to hang with him while he was here and I didn’t!

Friends are a great asset to have they’re a real blessing when its true. Having someone to talk to, confide in and that you can just be yourself and have fun with is what its all about. I don’t know to much about Boozer myself, but the way you spoke of him I can tell that he is a good man and my mother always told me that “birds of a feather, flock together”, you are a amazing person so its only right to say that you surround yourself with other amazing people
Utah was a pretty tough team to play I would say too, it was yall’s second meeting this season and it was just as rough if not more then the first time. You guys came out strong, kept yall heads in the game, and stayed focused. That was a really nasty hit you took to the face too, right in the begining I was so scared looking on because you just kept grabbing it so I knew it hurt but you took it like a champ for the team and you was right back into attack mode, I like that baby
Well I hope and pray that one day your dream to play with your friends or at least D.Wade comes true it would be a heck of a team thats for sure.

I love the Atlanta Hawks and I would hate to see Joe Johnson go but I can truly understand. We have to make our own decisions in life and i wish him well. (sad face) I wish the best for whatever team D-Wade or Joe plays on because I am crazy about them both. U too boo boo!

Hi Dwight, wow you all did great last night, beating the Jazz. That was a good game, it seems like lately you all struggle or play a close game until the 4th quarter and then you all manage to stop the other team with your defense then you all make all your shoots and win…you did the samething with Portland that was a good game too…
Thats cool, that you have big brothers in the NBA that will guide you in things that your experiencing now and in the future…Because your a high profile athelete and its just people that dont have your best interest and want you to fail or not to succeed. So guys like that will school you on what path to take..or things to avoid…
Out of all the Free Agents, I would like Dwade to play on the Magic…you all seem like you all really get along and he is great with offense…You all need somebody thats gonna guarantee you all at least 30 plus points a game and thats what he does…Your definitely the defense, but you lately have been getting 20 plus ponits a gaine so if you got Dwade then you all would definitely be unstoppable…

But he never did. He went up against Half Retired Jordan and Won.(East Semi’s)
Then he tried himself by getting swept by 72-10 Jordan.
Wade will never be Jordan and you have the chance to become better than Shaq.
Staying with one team for a whole career says a a lot about a man’s integrity.
Sorry. As Dominant as Shaq has been over his career he still looks like a loser jumping from team to team grasping at a Championships.
Unless you wear Number 23 and you’re is Jordan you are not winning a Title without a Dominant Big Man.
Oh and next time you see Shaq Ask why he only won Titles when Robinson Olajuwon and Ewing were past their Primes?
Its good to know that eventhough you guys play against one another that you can still be good friends afterwards, its really easy to get caught up in the negative side of competition.
By the way, if any of those players were to play for the magic that would really be unfair to the rest of the other teams.

I love your relationship with Carlos, I noticed he was at the finals last year, front row, supporting his buddy. I loved that, and I voted him on the allstar ballot, best friends are a gift. Great game last night against Rockets, I just don’t like that team. But I gotta tell you, Boston is the one I really don’t like. And LeBron, we fans are still pretty upset over his immaturity. In the playoffs last season, at halftime, he was across the court and during the Magic dancers routine, he walked right in the MIDDLE of their dance number. They had to back up to let him pass. Please, that was rude. I’m glad LeBron isn’t a Magic player, he’s classless. Happy Holidays.
