Orlando Magic superstar center Dwight Howard will host the “D12 Strikes: No Pin Left behind Bowling Tournament” on Saturday in Orlando at the AMF Altamonte Lanes.
The inaugural event will benefit Dwight’s D12 Foundation.
“I’m really looking forward to the “D12 Strikes Celebrity Bowling Tournament,” Dwight said. “It’s the first annual event for my D12 Foundation, which has gotten off to a great start. I’m excited to have sponsors, my friends and teammates come out and have a good time for charity.”
Among the professional athletes and celebrities expected to attend are Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson, Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Mike Sims-Walker, Tampa Bay center Jeff Fain, Atlanta Hawks forward Josh Powell, several of Dwight’s Orlando Magic teammates and many more.
Each bowling lane will be sponsored and proceeds from the event will help aid a variety of D12 Foundation local, national and international initiatives. Official sponsors include the Orlando Magic, Florida Hospital and Pepsi®.
