The Magic has played in the Amway Arena since they joined the NBA in 1989. It was the league's third-oldest facility.

The program also includes a new performing arts center and renovation of the Citrus Bowl, which hosts an annual college football bowl game. The Magic will contribute $158 million toward the total cost, the team said.

"We are happy that we were able to reach an agreement that is a great step forward for our organization, downtown Orlando, and all of Orange County," Magic owner Rich DeVos said in a statement.
