Dayshawn Wright Dayshawn Wright was a burly forward from the local area, who played one season as a reserve forward for Syracuse. Dayshawn Wright played basketball at Syracuse's Fowler High School, before transferring to Oak Hill Academy his senior year. There he was a starter on the 2004 High School National Champion team. As a freshman, Dayshawn Wright was primarily a reserve with limited playing time because of several upperclassmen entrenched ahead of him. He was suspended for the NCAA tournament game by the school for undisclosed reasons.
