All five Magic starters scored in double figures as Jameer Nelson and Hedo Turkoglu added 13 apiece. J.J Redick snapped out of a shooting slump and scored 10 of his 12 points in the second half. Keith Bogans scored 11 points and played stellar defense against Cleveland star LeBron James for a second time in the China Games.

The Magic are 5-1 in the preseason and close the exhibition season Thursday at home against the San Antonio Spurs.

"I'm really proud of the way we came over here and played well and didn't take this trip for granted," said Howard, who made six of eight shots and five of 10 free throws. "We can take what happened here and really build on it."

The Magic defeated the Cavaliers Wednesday in Shanghai and then topped the Team China All-Stars Wednesday in Macao .

The Magic were once again without Rashard Lewis (sprained ankle), Trevor Ariza (sore foot) and Keyon Dooling (groin/hip soreness).

James scored 14 points in 27 minutes, but missed nine of 14 shots.

The Magic blew the game open in the second half, outscoring the Cavs 28-24 in the third quarter and 29-15 in the fourth.

"We started the game off getting absolutely manhandled under the boards and throwing the ball all around the arena," Magic coach Stan Van Gundy said. "But that third quarter was probably the best we've played all preseason."

Nelson, who has had a stellar preseason, had several highlight-reel plays in the third quarter to jump-start the Magic's offense. He started the third period off with a alley-oop lob to Howard. And twice he deftly split double teams and got in the lane for layups. The second one brought the sellout crowd to its feet when the 6-foot Nelson switched the ball in midair to avoid James at the rim.

James took some highly questionable shots throughout the game, but there was no questioning the move he made midway through the third period with the shot clock running down. James put his head down and drove by Hedo Turkoglu for a dunk as the horn sounded.

The Magic trailed 45-43 at halftime. Howard has played well against Cleveland 's Zydrunas Ilgauskas early on, scoring 11 points on four of five shooting. However, Howard's improved free-throw shooting slipped with three first-half misses.

The Magic pushed the ball at the pace that new coach Stan Van Gundy wants and scored 11 points off the fastbreak in the first half. However, Orlando turned the ball over 10 times, leading to 16 Cleveland points. Several of the turnovers have come on entry passes to Howard. Turkoglu had six turnovers in the first half.

Following the game, the Magic boarded their charter plane for the 17-hour flight back to Orlando .
