I had a blast at the All-Star Game!!!

Heyyyyyyyyyyy wooooorrrrrrrrrllllllddddd!!!

Well, I’m back in sunny Orlando after a tiring, but good time in LA for the All-Star Game. I went out there with the goal of having fun and that’s just what I did. The whole weekend is for the fans and I went out there with you guys in mind. Again, I want to thank each and every one of you who voted for me. I’m so blessed to have your support.

Last night in the game, I didn’t play that much, but that’s actually a good thing so that I could rest my legs for this championship push that we’re about to make with the Magic. I got to chat with Justin Bieber and some of the celebrities sitting around the court, so that made for a fun night. It was like a Lakers game X 100 with all of the celebs in the crowd. Or maybe a Clippers game X 10,000, but everywhere I looked there was a musician or an actor or actress.

Friday was like, the busiest day that I had out there. I woke up that morning for the NBA Cares event and we helped to build a playground for some kids in LA. That’s always fun because I love seeing the smiles on kids faces. The only thing I didn’t like was them making us wear green shirts. Let’s just say because of Boston, green isn’t my favorite color these days.

Then, we had a media session later in the day and of course a lot of people were asking me about my contact, which drives me crazy. I told them the same thing that I’ve been saying all along: The only thing on my mind right now is winning a championship for the Magic. That’s it!!! Nothing more, nothing less. I’m happy here and I’ll deal with the contract stuff when it comes time.

On Friday night, I was on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Did ya’ll know that it’s taped at like 3 o’clock in the afternoon but doesn’t come on until midnight??? I had so much fun laughing with Jay and showing America some of my personality. I did a couple of impersonations of Charles “Turrible” Barkley and Arnold Swarznegger: “Hurrrrrrry, everybody get down!!!”

We had my all-star bash on Friday night and that was cool getting some good grub, listening to some good music and dancing a little bit.

On Saturday night, I got to serve as an analyst on TNT for the dunk contest. I’ve got to say that I was really impressed with the creativity that those dudes brought to the contest. It’s probably the most buzz around a dunk contest since I came out of the phone booth with the cape on.

JaVale McGee dunking on the two goals and dunking three balls was very cool. DeMarr DeRozan was my pick to win it, but he got off to a bad start. He had a really nice dunk. Everybody out there was talking about Blake Griffin, and of course he won it after jumping over the Kia car. That was nice, but if you want to impress me, jump over a Hummer!!! I’m hoping that my boy, DeAndre Jordan, gets into the contest next year because he has some serious ability dunking the ball. He’s my prediction to win it next year if he enters the contest.

The game was pretty cool. Lenny Kravitz was jamming for our introductions, but I dind’t really get to see much of the Rhinna concert at halftime because we were in the locker room. I’ve got to say that it was weird being in the same locker room with all of those Heat and Celtics players since we’re trying to beat them in the East. It was even weirder when Doc Rivers put the four Celtics players into the game and I was the fifth guy out there with them!!! I was trying to learn some of their plays in case we play them in the playoffs!!!

But I’m cool with all of those guys from the Heat and Celtics because we were just out there to chill from the long season, have fun and put on a great show for the fans. We were able to have some with ‘Bron before the game with all five starters doing the powder toss thing. That got some good laughs.

Well, I’m going to get out of here. We have practice tonight at 6 and I’m sure Stan Van Gundy will be screaming his head off at us to, “Ruuuuuunnnnnnnn!!!”

Hope you guys enjoyed the All-Star Game as much as I did. Thanks to everybody who voted for me because it’s always such an honor.

Now, let’s get this playoff push with the Magic cranked up. It’s time to get down to business and make this run at getting a ‘chip. Yuuuuuuuaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!
